Custom Handmade Steak Knives
4 1/2 inch blades. 1.4mm spines with teeth. Melted copper bolsters. Long 4 1/2 inch moose antler scaled handles held with copper pins.
A Place Setting
We are what we eat
Melted copper onto the blades distorting the blades. The distortion comes from what we have seen here living in the bush in British Columbia for 25 years. The impact. The distortion in the steel follows the organic lines in the moose antler handles. The natural environment.
Moose antler off cuts, bent and distorted. We boiled the pieces, straightened them with clamps and vise.
